FAQ

A Little Seed is a company that helps independent producers, filmmakers and distributors to put their films onto digital platforms like Apple iTunes and Amazon for sale. Right now, we are an authorized Apple iTunes aggregator and will soon venture into Google Play store aggregation as well.
As an authorized Apple iTunes aggregator, we are specialists appointed by Apple to help our clients navigate the extensive QC process. We are also responsible for aggregating the sales around the world for your titles and delivering the revenue share and reports to you.
At A Little Seed, we take a curatorial approach towards aggregation. We are particularly excited about helping independent filmmakers who are keen to find ways to distribute their films on their own.

TVOD stands for Transactional-Video-On-Demand and EST stands for Electronic-Sell-Through. These are the rights you need to acquire in order to sell your film on digital platforms like iTunes. EST allows a consumer to purchase and own a title while TVOD allows one to pay per view (rental).
No. That means you can still sell your films on multiple digital platforms to optimise your sales.
The market is slowing evolving from physical media like DVDs and Blu-ray Discs to digital platforms. Retail shops selling physical media are dwindling as well as video rental stores. Online platforms like iTunes are basically electronic/digital version of the traditional retail or video rental stores – except they are not limited to physical/space constraints. You also do not need to reprint and stock actual physical discs after your stock runs out, as you will never run out of stock.
